About

For such a small town, there’s plenty to do in Lowville. Veterans Memorial Park, where many community events take place is located right in the Village. Just a mile away from Willow Landing are the Lewis County Fairgrounds—host to Farmer’s markets, horse shows, auctions, and various sporting events that take place throughout the year. Also located on the Fairgrounds is a pavilion where community members go to ice-skate in the winter.

About 5 miles down the road from the Willow landing apartments and townhouses is the Whetstone Gulf Park where visitors go to escape the stress of everyday life and to explore the great outdoors through activities such as camping, swimming, fishing, cross-country skiing, canoeing and so much more. In addition to Whetstone Park, Lowville is conveniently located near the Thousand Island Region of New York as well as the tranquil Adirondack park providing the perfect opportunity for a relaxing family vacation or a spontaneous weekend getaway. If you need a break from small town life, the city of Watertown is just 25 miles North West of Lowville and has a more city like culture with lots of shops, restaurants and a more stimulating social scene.
